Designed for the digital generation

These days, our tamariki know how to use technology before they learn to kōrero, so it makes sense that their financial education starts online, too. That’s where a YouMoney account^ comes in.

Let their imagination run wild

Kids can personalise each of their accounts with their own nicknames, and upload their own pictures.

Set goals and watch progress

Each account can be customised with a savings goal, and a progress bar will show kids how close they are to reaching it.

Move money with drag and drop

The drag and drop feature is a fun and visual way to move money between different accounts, or pay people.

Get them their first Flexi Debit Visa

Thirteen-year-olds and up can get a Flexi Debit Visa card in their own name. They’ll learn about smart spending and managing their money by using the BNZ app. Their first experience with a debit card can be as flexible as they need it to be.
